We will be talking about the lifecycle of the sunflower. We will be planting our own seeds, talking about how we need to care for it and talking about the changes that take place as it grows. The children will be taking their own sunflower home. You may wish to help your child to explore this curriculum focus at home or when you are out and about. Our suggested activity is: Talk about the changes that happen to the sunflower as it grows. Explain what it needs to grow and stay healthy. Measure it and see how long it takes to become taller than you!
