We will follow our curriculum focus by: Listening to our animal sounds CD and see if we can guess which animal is making that noise. We will be moving on to identifying sounds that we can hear in our everyday environment and playing lots of games that need us to listen carefully, such as ‘What’s the time Mr. Wolf’ and ‘Simon says’. You may wish to help your child to explore this or curriculum focus at home or when you are out and about. Our suggested activity is: Talk about the different noises animals make. How many animals can you remember seeing from your last zoo visit or in a book about the zoo. Listen to the noises you hear around you and see if you know what made that noise.
