We will follow this interest by: Our home corner has turned into Outer Space with rockets, a space station, spacemen and the odd alien! We will be searching through the stars with our torches and talking about what we see. We will be looking at different planets and making our very own papier-mâché solar system for under our outside shelter. You may wish to help your child to explore this interest or at home or when you are out and about. Our suggested activity is: Look at the different things you can see in the night sky or in books about space. Practise holding different writing materials and see what you can draw with them. Peeling off stickers is great for strengthening those hand muscles.
