We will follow our curriculum focus by: Using play dough to squeeze and shape into moon rocks to strengthen our muscles in our hands, so we can use our drawing materials effectively to create pictures of planets, rockets and aliens. We will be practising our scissor skills to cut up the paper for our solar system. We will also be making our very own rockets. You may wish to help your child to explore this curriculum focus at home or when you are out and about. Our suggested activity is: Look at the different things you can see in the night sky or in books about space. Practise holding different writing materials and see what you can draw with them. Peeling off stickers is great for strengthening those hand muscles.
